I heard by reading on Tom's Hardware that the Asus UEFI BIOS can be kind of picky or finicky when it comes to flash drives and which they accept. They were both formatted with FAT32, which is what is needed for this. I tried a different flash drive and got the same results. The exact model number I just listed isn't a thing on there, but the individual parts of it are, and they both lead to the same BIOS version (version 0704, Model: K30BF/M32BF/K31BF). ![]() I searched by motherboard, which is listed in the UEFI BIOS as K30BF_M32BF. I went to the Asus website to find the most recent version. So I want to update an old BIOS on my Asus M32 desktop from 2014.
